Whichever device you buy will likely need a case, but not this one. The 920 can withstand being run over by a car, getting dropped from head height, getting tossed high into the air (probably was 20+ feet), and being attacked with a knife, a mallet, and keys. The 920 is a large device, but know this: you DO NOT need a case. As to WHICH device to get, I would aim for Nokia's line. Trust me when I say that there is PLENTY to do on Windows Phone. Poke Quiz There are several others to try on my phone, but since I am a completionist of sorts, I haven't gotten the chance. Again, though, I've not quite had this thing a month, so I haven't tried them all out. All told, I have 28 games installed on my 920. I mostly enjoy puzzle games on my phone, but that's not an exclusive thing. I haven't made much use of them all, but they sounded interesting enough to install and try at my leisure. I mean, really, I'm not much of an app person, so there are only a couple of non-gaming apps I use, but I have a total of 12 installed. I've personally had 0 trouble finding apps and games that I can use. It's a FANTASTIC device, but I'll bet it's too large for your liking. Now, I just switched to a Nokia Lumia 920 on November 9th. There's just WAY too much redundancy to look at pure app totals and find them to be meaningful or relevant. You could go look for something like a unit converter, and you'd find a dozen or more. In 2 years on Android, I never found a game I liked for more than a month or so, and the only app I was using at the end was Trillian (and IM client). Over on Android (as someone who is coming from an HTC Droid Incredible), it's not much different. On top of that, even if that article overstates the total, the app totals on iOS are greatly overstated (in terms of useful apps) because of how many copycat apps there are. There are more apps on iOS and Android, but an article I saw a month or two ago said that more than 60% of the apps on Apple's App Store were never once downloaded, meaning about 400,000 of the 700,000 present are of no use to people. Just so you know, saying that Windows Phone has no apps is a gross overstatement. What cell phone should i get now? i'm for obvious reasons not going with iPhone. I used to have a nexus one, the original one. It was a shop display one, so got it cheap and I had to This answer could be plan knowledge but I'm a novice.Basically got a notebook type pc, so my son could play games on it. Can I play on pc? Get disconnected from xbox whenI try to play.? The iphone 4s looks like a toy compared to the lumia 620. You probably won't make a mistake by getting an Xperia though. Getting a lumia 620 would be a better choice if you use your phone for taking photos on a large scale. And nokia devices come with free music subscription, and the camera, maps apps are great. Try it and u'll never get back to android. Android is a bugged place and you can't be 100% sure that gta 3/Fifa etc play good enough on the xperia. you have rocket riot 3d, wordament, skulls of the shogun and a lot of other Xbox live titled games ( notice that 512MB of ram rather than 1GB renders you unable to get other games like Batman: the dark knight rises). but you have a lot of other good games on lumia. Of course you won't have gta 3 on windows phone. Well i was looking for sony xperia E but many people are suggesting to wait for another week and get lumia 520! but i want to ask its a windows phone right? am a gaming person and iĭude get the lumia 520, or better a 620.
